HOW IT STARTED
Karue’s founders Karen and Rosie began their grand adventures in Spring 2015. Their domestic and international travels have provided them with so much joy and inspiration. They believe that their relationship is strengthened every time they embark on a journey together.

Their mother-daughter relationship is a gift and inspiration to families all over. Their passion for spontaneity, people, and travel has motivated the mission of Karue. Karue leads the way in the mother-daughter tour industry.
Today, Karue hosts mothers and daughters on lux vacations in boutique cities across the U.S and abroad. Each trip is handcrafted by a team of professionals who partner with Karue. Your hosts Karen and Rosie are well immersed in the travel industry and will see to it that your trip is one-of-a-kind. Your sole focus is to make memories with your mother or daughter. Bon Voyage!
THE TEAM
Meet Karen
Born and raised in rural Ohio, I have always loved the comfort of my sweet, quiet hometown. But, upon discovering Washington DC with my children's 8th grade tours, I fell in love with our Nation's beautiful Capital. That experience drove me to become a licensed Tour Guide, specifically for Washington DC and the historic East Coast.

I have had the distinct pleasure of showing off our amazing Capital and its surroundings to thousands of students and adults from all parts of the world. Watching my guests see the beauty of a new place, for the first time is delightful! To hear the "oooohs and aaaahs" brings a genuine smile to my face.

As an ITMI Accredited and Certified Tour Guide, I have been working in the travel industry for six years now and have met wonderful people from across the United States and abroad! My love for the travel industry is what compels me to explore and learn more and more about this exciting world we live in. And I want to share it WITH YOU!

Meet Rosie
My traveling adventures began when I was 15 and traveled to the UK to represent the Miss Ohio Program. My involvement in the Miss America Organization and The International Duke of Edinburgh Program has connected me with people across the world! Having been to 6 countries, I've had the pleasure of meeting some of the most amazing people!

I founded the Red Wagon Campaign in 2013 and have been working in the sports and nonprofit world for 6 years. Within my line of work I've help create customized travel packages for numerous Professional Athlete's nonprofit auctions - raising millions for charity.
​
The trips where I have traveled with a group has been more fruitful than when I embarked on a solo journey. I encourage you to take your momma or daughter, and join in our small group travel opportunities. Looking forward to connecting with you on our trip.
